Salt lake city cemetery mary crowder4/24/2023 Memorials in honor of Jean may be made to the Houston Food Bank or the American Cancer Society. Jean will be laid to rest at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Houston Texas. Visitation will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in League City Octoat 1:30pm, Funeral Service will follow at 2:30pm. Jean was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church and previously a member of the United Methodist Women (UMW) and Circle and is presently a member of the Friendswood United Methodist Church. Jean will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She also loved plants and took special pride in her vegetable garden. Jean loved sewing, embroidery, quilting, ceramics and various other arts and crafts. She was born in Indian Winter Quarters on January 8th 1847, and died in Salt Lake City Utah of diarrhea on September 27th 1847. Researchers note: Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Beatrice, Nebraska.
